Got 10 of 'em inside a minute and a half but didn't get anywhere near the last one. Don't want to spoil it for anyone though - suffice it to say +1 to my brain for eradicating any memory of him playing for the MightyZ.

Took 3 and a half minutes but failed to get a centre back, right mid and a central mid.

Missed out on the left back, and both right midfielders. Clearly a scarring/mental block issue.

Missed both the right sided midfielders, gave up after two and a half mins.

Of the two I missed, one I'd forgotten about entirely.

Only got the left back because of the number of letters in his name and still only after 2 minutes or so.  I can hardly remember him playing at all.  Missed, as seems common, a centre mid and right mid who really shouldn't have been there even when he was good enough to get on the pitch.

I only remembered the right mid because of a long-running argument with JayJay on here; that game was always cited as the evidence that he wasn't completely crap.

The left back was just a number of letters cheat for me, too.

Got 8 really fast, then stumped on last three and gave up.  Should perhaps have got the CD, but would never have gotten the RM and CM.

Incidentally, the subs that day were Morgan, Gunnarsson, Bopp, Jess and Roche.
Halcyon days.

Morgan and Gunnarsson went on to better than one of the centre halves and both of the central mids respectively.

Gunnarsson in particular was a victim of Harty's stubborn streak.  Hart apparently didn't rate him, but he was a decent player at Stoke before he came and he went on to be a good player at Reading after he left.  A missed opportunity, I think; he could have ruled a League One midfield, for instance - certainly a good deal more than HTE ever did in a red shirt.

It's nice looking back at these sides sometimes; it makes you realise how much we've come on!

It does, would only take the obvious centre back and LM for definate now and possibly the CM who still plays at this level.

I wouldn't mind the little centre forward in his prime.
