No need, Tricky has probably been offering his advice already.

What you mean "Try not to shoot over the bar if you want to score goals"?

You can see why they all see him as such a guru.

Sometimes it's easy to overlook the obvious. It's the little things that can make all the difference.  The art of quality coaching is keeping it simple.

Indeed.  "Put the bouncing, rolling, round thing into that thing that looks like a fishing net" - Barry Fry's made an entire career out of it.  Come to think of it, I knoew there was someone you reminded me of...

Watching the highlights and was surprised at the doubt surrounding the pen as I thought it was pretty clear cut.  The bloke had both arms in front of his head while lunging to block the shot.

From where I was sat it looked nailed on to me, so I was surprised there was any debate. The tv clips I've seen look kinder to the defender than what I recall.

Not had a chance to post since the game, but FWIW, I thought the pen was harsh (from TE upper) but Bilbo who was next to me remarked that if a defender jumps with his arms raised, he's asking for trouble - a fair point.

Someone commented last week that when Moussi is on his game, he's potentially a great player. Agreed. Sadly, on Saturday, he had an absolute mare and did virtually nothing right, missing tackles and needing Senakot to pass anything. In all 3 subs, I'd've taken him off ahead of the chosen victim.

As it happens, that little Gyppo cnut Freddie Eastwood has just scored against us for the sh!te Blues, so I'm slightly distracted and could no longer give a sh!t about Saturday.
