I would think about Tyson as a wingback. He's committed, he's quick, reasonably strong. Would bring the ball out of defence quickly and he has the right attitude.

Good to see that defending doesn't come into your criteria for what makes a full back.

Don't encourage him. Clearly wrote just looking for a reply.

Not just defending on the evidence of Tyson's performances this season. I think if Nathan had controlled a ball yesterday he might have received the same rapturous round of applause that the referee did for his aberration in awarding a throw-in the correct way.

That's a good article.

None of his selections seem to make much sense today. We've been sweeping aside all and sundry at the City Ground with Anderson and Majewski, so he starts with the clearly inferior Tyson and Moussi?

Moussi...He might as well have been on fire. A liability, on that showing. He had a great game at Birmingham when he was allowed to play, but get in his face as Wednesday did, and he falls to bits.

I can't agree at all. That was a rare bad Moussi game this season, coming after (another) absence due to injury/fitness problems. For me he has had a number of good games (Cardiff, Newcastle and West Brom off my head). Yesterday he was a part of a very poor midfield that failed to impose themselves as a collective. Even then I'm not sure he was worse than McKenna who, though dogged and inspirational, continues to have difficulties finding a red shirt. A flaw not helped by his constant random hoofs into nowhere (some of which you will see every time he plays). Not that that makes McKenna a bad player. I like to look at each element of the side as a unit and that's where I like the three Ms of Moussi, McKenna and Majewski the most in midfield. A fit Moussi is a great asset to this side though and one bad game doesn't change that.

What he said. Moussi is a good, could be great, player. Barely anyone performed well yesterday.

Actually, for what it is worth, Moussi started well - defensively anyway, but faded second half with many scuffed clearances and caught by Wed's midfield in possession.

After the game my Wednesday supporting mate was moaning that the penalty was really harsh, and then the Billies comments seemed to agree, so I took it that we'd got a bit lucky on that front. However having just watched the highlights, I think it was actually. Purse has his hands right up in the air, and then the ball strikes him on the upper arm as he is turning away. If he'd has his arms down by his sides it would have missed him and hit the corner flag but that's beside the point.

I saw it on the highlights and thought it was a bit harsh, he couldn't really do anything different as far as I could see. But a win against one of the form teams in the division is pretty good, even a lucky win. It shows after the D*rby game that we can compete with physical teams.

No need to say that in little letters; there's nothing in the rules that says it only counts as handball if the ball was going in.

Indeed, it was more that I was sparing Dexter's blushes. You know, for when he comes onto this board later to see what we thought of his performance.

No need, Tricky has probably been offering his advice already.
