I travelled to Cambridge today via London, and am in my hotel room in Cambridge as we speak. I will be returning to Bournemouth tomorrow.

I'm about to get the E train back to my apartment. Tomorrow I shall work from home which will entail a journey similar to Tricky's (although obviously not in Tricky's house).

Brian: Peter, did you read the fine print on this loan contract?
Peter: Um, if by "read" you mean imagined a naked lady, then, yes.

Mr.Weed: Peter! Are you sleeping on the job?
Peter: Uh uh...no! There's uh..a..bug in my eye and I'm trying to suffocate him.

Peter: Listen Lois, I know you're a feminist and I think that's adorable, but this is grown-up time and I'm the man.

A slight variation on the mundane thread.

Tomorrow I'm driving to Blandford Forum.

You shouldn't expect too much of a place which has 'bland' in the name. Likewise you know what to expect when you go to Grimsby.

I drive daily from Plungar to Grantham. I usually go on the A607. Occasionally I go on the A52 to keep things interesting.

Sounds like something from Russ' bangin' youth (qv the wonders of YouTube thread for all-too-many details).

I have to take the northern line twice a day. It's terrible. Sometimes I get the bus which takes longer, but is more pleasant. Chalk Farm to Elephant & Castle, then back.

If I'm working on a Sunday, then I may drive in, as there is no congestion charge.

It's no quicker, but more pleasant.
