A slight variation on the mundane thread.

Tomorrow I'm driving to Blandford Forum.

I know somebody that makes the journey from Long Eaton to D*rby on a daily basis for work. Now that is mundane.

I travel every day from my bedroom to my home office.  Mundane, but mercifully short.

Newcastle-under-Lyme to Telford.
So far, I have done it via the M6, via Market Drayton and most recently via
Eccleshall.
All quite mundane in their own way.
Think I prefer the Eccleshall route as slightly shorter.

I drive past the CG twice every day. I do not feel the need to shout curses towards it.

On Friday, I will be driving to Southampton down the A/M42, M40, A34 and M3. I will be returning on Sunday evening. On Monday morning I then have to drive from Nottingham to Perth. All relatively mundane, but fairly long, journeys.

Pah. Luxury.
Last Monday I had to get up at 4am, half an hour before I went to bed; suck on a damp cloth, fly to Chicago and pay the hotel for the pleasure of staying there, and when I got home on Friday drink a bottle of Corona with a lime.

Mr.Weed: Peter! Are you sleeping on the job?
Peter: Uh uh...no! There's uh..a..bug in my eye and I'm trying to suffocate him.

Peter: Listen Lois, I know you're a feminist and I think that's adorable, but this is grown-up time and I'm the man.

Read this just as I was answering the phone. Chuckled at person on other end. Doubtless they now think I'm some kind of mentalist.

I went to Burton Joyce this afternoon to pick up a bookcase for someone I don't know who lives 200 miles away and thought that Nottingham was a good place to buy a bookcase off ebay from.

Don't ask.
